Your task is to create a game/activity for Daily Physical Activity. You will work with a partner to invent a game that can be played outside with a class of 25 students. You can use the courts, playing fields, or playground equipment. You may also use Phys. Ed. equipment such as balls, etc. You must remember to keep safety, fair play, and movement/exercise as a priority. You will create a very brief (two or three slides) Google Presentation to show your classmates the instructions, before we go outside to play the game. You will be marked on the presentation/instructions, the quality of the game (Was if fun? Was it easy to learn/play? Did everyone get exercise?). You will also get marked on your ability to independently lead your classmates through the activity (with minimal intervention from the teacher - but I will be at your side if you need assistance).

    Making Headlines Assignment
To begin, students will define kindness. We will discuss what kindness looks like, feels like and then sounds like. People in other countries perform more everyday acts of kindness just like us. Your task is to find a current event article about an act of kindness performed in another country. You may use the internet, newspapers, or magazines. Then, you will write a summary of the article and write a paragraph about why you think the article shows kindness.
